My name is Daniel Bejarano (if you're curious, it's pronounced like this, but feel free to mispronounce it in your own favorite way).
In short, I live in Austin, TX, grew up in Mexico, and eat cheesecake like a champion. I enjoy math stuff and adventures, and believe the power of a good conversation is underrated. In long, I'm an engineer with a passion for uncovering insights from data. I build computer models and systems that expand our ability to extract knowledge. By working with organizations and governments, I help empower decision makers via machine learning and predictive analytics in the planning and managing of their organizations and communities. When I'm not confusingly staring at my screen, I enjoy drinking with friends and strangers, bike rides on trails, playing basketball, losing at trivia night, rock climbing, snowboarding when it's cold, and reading when I'm tired. Lastly, I won't say "I love traveling" because that makes me every other person and that's not much of a first impression, so let's just say that most of the things I enjoy are even more enjoyable when away. The rest of my time and energy are devoted to learning how to adult better. If you have questions or advice, send a message so we can chat. |
